Grant graduated cum laude and with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Maryland, a Master's Degree in biology/biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University, and a law degree from the Washington College of Law, The American University.

Mr. Grant is a member of AIPLA, TCM, IPO, WIB, numerous state and federal bars including New York and Washington, DC. As a registered patent attorney with over 20 years of experience, he is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
